What should my clients know about me? For starters, I am a native Chapel Hillian, a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, and I absolutely love this town. Over the years I have lived in New York, Boston, and Milan, Italy. When the time came to raise my family, however, I did what so many people do every year: I chose Chapel Hill.
I have over 25 years of real estate experience and I continue to love what I do because showing the Triangle area to others is another opportunity to talk about places I care about and with which I am deeply connected. Chapel Hill and Durham offer so much to so many. Diverse neighborhoods, cultural events, public greenways and parks, vibrant nightlife and restaurants, and, of course, the Universities all add to what makes these towns such a pleasure to share with others. Durham's urban chic & bustle and Chapel Hill's bucolic village charm are perfect complements to each other. Plus, the growth of the Triangle in the last decades has brought Hillsborough and Pittsboro to center stage for people who want to be near the larger cities and all they offer, but come home at the end of the day to the pace of small town life. I believe the Triangle, truly, does have something for everyone.
My real estate career began in 1998 as part of the award-winning Southern Village sales team, led by Erika Buchholtz. For five years I had the opportunity to list and market some of the most beautiful custom homes in the Triangle. My Southern Village years were priceless experience in new construction sales and marketing practices. Of all the things I learned during this time, the most important was how to provide the very best customer service for every home buyer.
When Southern Village new construction was completed, I began my general brokerage career, carrying with me the commitment to exceed my clients' expectations for excellent service and expertise in our market. I believe responsiveness, careful listening, and attention to detail go a long way to making your home-buying experience the best it can be. I consistently rank in the top 1%-3% of Berkshire Hathaway agents nationwide.
Family, friends, work, and physical fitness keep me centered and inspired. The common denominator in all my pursuits is the desire to be happy, challenged, productive, and to seek my personal best in all aspects of my life. When I am not selling houses or with my family and friends, I'm at my local Crossfit box or favorite yoga studio. Family and friends bring me joy and keep me grounded; Crossfit and yoga keep me pushing through to the next level; real estate is challenging and ever-changing. These pursuits are my recipe for happiness.
